Iman

Iman means Faith; belief.

Iman is a name given to girls, used in Muslim families. It comes from Arabic.

In the namkaran tradition the first syllable of a name is often chosen to suit the rashi, the moon sign at birth. Iman begins with a syllable traditionally used for Vrishabha (Taurus).
