Questions parents ask about finding care nearby

Which areas does the directory cover?

Delhi NCR for now. Enter your pincode and you get paediatric clinics, hospitals and CBSE schools around it, sorted by how far away they really are. Other cities are not in there yet, so if you are outside NCR this will come up empty rather than showing you something irrelevant.

Does it list individual doctors?

No, it lists institutions. You get hospitals and clinics with their address and phone number, not named paediatricians with profiles. That is a deliberate line. Keeping a current, fair listing of individual doctors is a much bigger promise than a small team can keep honestly, and a stale one is worse than none.

Do you have nannies or JAPA caretakers?

Not yet, despite the name of the page. Childcare staff are the hardest thing on this list to list responsibly, because the checks behind a recommendation matter more than the listing itself. We would rather say so plainly than show you names we cannot stand behind.

How is the distance worked out?

From the pincode you give, not from live GPS, so treat every distance as roughly right rather than exact. It is enough to tell a ten-minute drive from a forty-minute one, which is the question most parents are really asking. You can widen the search radius if your area is thin.

Are these rankings or recommendations?

Neither. It is a distance-sorted list with no reviews, no stars and no paid placement. Nobody pays to appear higher, because there is no higher to buy. What appears near the top is simply what is near you.

How do I choose a paediatrician once I have a shortlist?

Distance matters more than parents expect, because you will do this trip with a sick baby and sometimes at night. Beyond that, ask how after-hours calls are handled, whether the clinic is attached to a hospital with newborn facilities, and whether the doctor explains things in a way you follow. A first visit in the first week is normal, so you find out quickly.

What about creches and daycare?

Not in the list yet either. For now the schools side is CBSE schools, which is the search most NCR parents are doing when they start looking ahead.

Can I suggest a clinic or school that is missing?

Yes, and it helps. The list grows from real corrections, so if something near you is missing or has moved, tell us and it gets checked.
