Naman

Naman means Salutation; respect.

Naman is a name given to boys, used in Hindu families. It comes from Sanskrit.

In the namkaran tradition the first syllable of a name is often chosen to suit the rashi, the moon sign at birth. Naman begins with a syllable traditionally used for Kanya (Virgo) and Vrishchika (Scorpio).
